A place appears and you tap where it is on the world map, as fast and as accurately as you can. A game is ten questions. Each scores up to 1,000 points, split between accuracy and speed, so a perfect game is 10,000.
Accuracy is most of your score: the closer your tap to the real location, the more you keep. Speed adds the rest on top. Accuracy is judged against the map you're on, so smaller maps demand sharper aim. After each question the map reveals the correct spot, so you learn as you play.
World Cities is free, along with 10 free learning packs covering the countries, states, and provinces of the world. Beyond those are 120+ themed packs: cities, flags, airport codes, volcanoes, stadiums, world wonders and more, available individually or in bundles. Open the pack store from the main menu to browse, search, and unlock.
Challenge a friend head-to-head through Game Center. You take turns: you play your round, they play theirs, and scores are compared at the end. You'll need to be signed in to Game Center on your device. There's no in-game chat.
New device, or reinstalled the app? Open the pack store and tap Restore Purchases. As long as you're signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with, your packs come back at no extra charge.
Open Settings from the main menu (the gear icon) and edit your player name there. It updates on your scores and in multiplayer.
Corto supports VoiceOver labels on its controls and honors the system Reduce Motion setting. If something isn't working well for you, let us know. We want to fix it.
